I should have been more specific. It is blue aluminum stem caps. Nothing major at all. Just being silly. Got them off of eBay.

Pulled the trigger yesterday for 1 7/8 Kooks headers, Kooks 3" catted X pipe, carbon fiber drive shaft, JLT cai, and Lund tune. Next step will be rear subframe brace, hardened half shafts, and supercharger.
Did you put your tune on the LE yet? How did it work out?
Don't think any one has solved the question if the LE's have a different factory tune.

We need someone with access to a good tuner to let them pull the factory coding and run a compare to known regular gt coding. All differences will pop up for analyzing.

Projected Pony Lights from side mirrors:

1. Is it legal (or illegal) in Texas to have those projected on the ground while going down the road?
2. How can those be modified to also come on when head lights are on? (which means it's dark enough for the projected Pony to show up on the ground)

Just think this would be a cool look - to see the horses running along side the car.

Legality, idk. If neon lights are illegal in Texas I would wager the puddle lights while driving would also be illegal. The way the law is worded here in Alabama, they would be illegal, but I will probably do it any way.

Probably the best/easiest way(s) to do it would be to either jumper it with the lights switch (to turn on when any of the lights are on but that would have them on all the time if you have automatic lights set), or, what i'll probably do, jumper them to the headlights (that will have them on everytime the headlights turn on but will not have them on when you switch the lights to accessory mode), or even jumper them to the yellow accent lights (that will have them on when you turn on any set of lights but will also turn them on and blink when you turn on your blinker... that actually sounds pretty cool! May do that too).

Could you PLEASE do a you tube video !? A demonstration is the only way I could do this. (along with any tools or "jumpers" needed)

So the parts for LE #81 arrived today and we installed them tonight. JLT CAI and Bama tune. The car is alive now! Intake rap is insane and she does 140mph in no time at all! However I did have problems with the grille opening adapter not fitting properly. Finished pics and adapter below.

Nice!!!

I received the JLT intake along with SCT on Monday. Sill waiting for the full Kooks exhaust and carbon fiber driveshaft. I'm planning on taking the car to a dyno this weekend so that I can have a baseline to compare to when mods are installed.

I'm waiting to find out more about possible retune from ford before I do anything. I would love to see what gains are made on one with just a jlt and tune.

I want a tune bad to firm up the shifts a bit.

As of yesterday, the car has 957 miles. I'm also waiting to go past 1,000 miles before dyno. Will get there by Saturday...

There is a rumor of more torque/power from the LE. Confirmed different engine number and computer from GT, but no one really knows what that means. After driving both GT and LE now, I'm inclined to think more rumor and it is more about authenticity. The difference is negligible IMO if there is.
