I've not got my car yet, but I had an extended test drive and a mighty fun (and possibly illegal) hoon around in my dealer's GT demonstrator. Any negatives I previously had with the car simple don't matter anymore. Just hit the loud pedal and let the smiles develop naturally.

You can read it here.

At least do a resonator delete for the exhaust. It does nothing to foul it's daily driving ability or comfort, yet adds a very satisfying growl when you get on the throttle or blip it for downshifts.

Even better haha. Not corsa sport axle back?
I really like the sound of the Roush, plus they're pretty cheap, which is a major factor when they need to be shipped all the way over the Atlantic.

Indeed. You certainly won't be disappointed. This car makes me smile every time I drive it.

I just had a quick half an hour in an auto GT. Just up and down a few Junctions on a very busy A3.

Great sound, only took it up to .9 leptons but the car felt as solid as a rock, steering fine, great noise on kick down and plenty to be heard at town speeds.

Good vision and the car didn't feel big at all. Mind you my last US car was a Mercury Grand Marquis. I think the rhd helps make it feel smaller.

I loved driving it and no buzzes or squeaks plus the beautiful bonnet was solid at speed.

My only gripe was how clunky the sat nav was compared to using Google on my phone. Wish I hadn't ticked that option now.

Only a couple of months to go now.

Do you find you sit a little high up? I'm average height an found my head quite close to the headlining. Maybe I need to be more reclined!

I found you can see the bonnet bouncing up and down when there are water droplets on it, otherwise it you don't really notice it.

I'm just shy of 6ft. I dropped the seat low and reclined a little and found it a great position.

I sit low in my Beemer so can't even see the bonnet so it's nice that you see that 'long' hood despite sitting low.

Plus the roof is pretty low anyway.

So would you say overall that you sit higher, than in the BM do you think? To me, I think it's just because the seat doesn't go down as low.

Also found that rear visibility is much better than I'd expected. Not too bad at all.
