Why go with Firestone in the first place? If budget orientated, NT555 G2's or S-04's. IMO.

Ahh. See if they can get Nitto NT555 G2's or Bridgestone Potenza S-04 Pole Position's or splurge for Michelin Pilot Super Sports!

Or save the money in a savings account and go to where you can get tires you want.

I think it's going to be between the new 555 and the s04. I'm reading about the new htrz3 now too. for the money.

another thing is size. I have spacers on the pp wheels and am wondering what size and width to go with. not sure if wider will rub

I have MPSS with no rub, stay with stock sizes and you'll be okay. if you want the beefier look then you may want to do research to see if they'll rub or not.

255/40/19 275/40/19 good to go

The best tire Firestone sells will be a Bridgestone and it still won't be wide enough, haha.
Firestone generally makes replacement OEM tires, size wise. If you're looking to keep your current sizing, then they'll have something for you... but if you're looking to go wide, it won't happen.

RE760s are a nice tire, as are their S0001.

I had the Indy Wide Ovals and had no complaints. Did well on the track too.

The new Firehawk Indy 500 is totally different from the wide oval version. Firestone doesn't even have them yet, looks like Tire Rack is it and they're stupid cheap.
