Been shopping around for a clean rear seat delete. I'm hoping the GT350R rear seat delete comes down in price lol.
The anderson composites delete is pretty clean. I love the x-brace deletes that came on boss cars, one of those would be sweet for the s550.

I have a GT350 wheel I ordered sitting in its box still that I may change over to. We'll see
I mean if you're not gonna throw it on since that new sparco is so sweet I could take it off your hands  I've been waiting for mine for like 2 months

Is there a negative to just taking the seats out and not putting a "delete" in?

You actually end up loosing a good amount of stuff lol. I didnt even think about it until I got in the car and drove it. Basically all the settings and menu options on the dash. Some key ones that bothered me is the ability to check tire pressure, track apps, changing the ambient colors, list goes on. Its a 330mm wheel.
I am wondering... and correct me if I am wrong... I would personally disassemble the OEM wheel and reroute/rewire the original switch package somewhere on the lower dash panel or center column.

I am sure a new switch package would not be that much from a dealer if you didn't want to take apart the original steering wheel.

thats a hell of an idea, definitely would be sick to do that and have the option to keep all the tech functionality with aftermarket wheels. but good god i can't even imagine what that project would be like haha

Not really, I just don't like the "look". With a black car it's not so bad, but if you had a particularly bright car all those panels would show. Also I carry a lot of junk with me in the trunk and I hate things flying around in there

HANS is so crucial for anyone running a harness. Cant stress this enough. We had a local shop owner who died in a crash a few weeks ago from not wearing a HANS. That will protect from frontal impact, Side impact will benefit from having Halo seats which I will probably upgrade to once I find some that fit my wide hips
what is the difference/advantage if any of a halo seat to regular bucket racing seats like ops or the recaros that come with the car

I love the look of it, just really hope it comes down a bit

A regular bucket seat with a Hans device only protects the driver from frontal collision, preventing any forward movement of the head/neck. However it does nothing for side to side movement. A good halo seat will protect the driver's head from any lateral movement.
