Sitting in traffic last week I got a thumbs up from a very young kid in a car seat as his Mom was yelling "nice car". To me it looked like she was actually showing him how to give a thumbs up, it was freaking adorable. Even got a very enthusiastic thumbs up from his Dad after a quick rev. The kid couldn't have been older than 2/3... made my day. I get a compliment a week at least, but that was one of the best yet... always been a sucker for a car enthusiast family

Gotten plenty of "nice car" from guys. Nothing from girls except a 10 yr old that was passing by (sheesh)

and one of the neighborhood milfs likes it. So 1 woman and lots of guys like it.

Since I got the car for me and not to impress anyone, i'm ok with it
I used to get ton of complements when it was still new. But now mostly its complements about Guard as a color, especially on a sunny day. I would say it's a 2 to 1 ratio of women to men complementing the color. They are generally in there 30's and 40's.

One day I went to put gas and there was 6 cars all S550 and they were not together. I'm like dude wtf really
Maybe it's the black roof on my car but I get a surprising amount of attention.

Drive thru's, gas stations, driving, kids point and wave, etc

Is your car dirty?

I have had my car over two years and I still get constant compliments. In the last week I’ve had two people roll their windows down at stop lights and tell me the exhaust sounds amazing (Corsa Sport catback which seems fairly quiet inside but I learned just recently after hearing another one it’s way the hell louder outside the car than I thought it was, it’s just as loud as the Extreme at higher rpms just with a lower pitch).
Corsa brings out the entire range of the Coyote's voice. You don't appreciate it as much inside the car unless the windows are down. But people outside definitely notice :D

Got a compliment today while filling up with gas...car all kinds of dirty(just got back from a 1400mile round trip). I would say people in general are nice to the car...however other mustang owners have been a toss up..some are cool...some are douches. One thing I miss about my Subie was EVERYONE was cool with you.

I tend to get "do a burnout" from the neighborhood teens quite a bit. My wife gets a chuckle from it, not so much when i actually do it.. lol!
That reminds me of a story. Shortly after I got my Mustang I was cruising through the neighborhood and a couple kids (about 7 or 8 years old I'd say) playing in their driveway about lost their minds when they saw it. They yelled, "DO A BURNOUT!!" While not a showboater, I decided to give in and I did a burn out. The kids raged and cheered and yelled, "**** YEAH MAN, **** YEAHHH!!!" Right then an older gentleman comes bounding out of the house and grabs the one kid and yells, "Hey! What did I tell ya about cussing?!?!"

It doesn't matter if I'm in the Raptor or the Mustang...if I go anywhere other than work, someone is commenting on it.
I'm like someone father up. These two are for me. I did not buy them to show off. But damn it feels good knowing I apparently have good taste.

Jealousy is a dangerous game my friend. Some Mustang owners can't be happy for you. Instead, they envy you. That's why the douchery comes out.

Only complements I've gotten since the new has worn off is from middle age women with a real bad smokers/whisky voice. Kind of like the old cigarette hag Hornitos commercial.
I'm at a red light with the windows down and I hear this voice from an SUV above and beside me. "Oh Honey, that is one fine looking car you have there..."
It scared me!
Another was a middle aged black woman with a shaved head and huge hoop earrings at the dry cleaners drive though.
"Oooh Baby! That is one nastyass Mustang! I had a Mustang years ago. Nothing like your nastyass Mustang. Mine was a V6. Damn girl, come look at this nastyass Mustang. (To her co-worker behind the counter) I had one of these years ago."
She asked me to rev it as I was pulling out under the covered drive through. She made an orgasmic grunting sound and I have never been back!

One time a woman in an SUV followed me into a parking lot. Said she saw me on the road and wanted to check out . . . the car. Wanted to take a picture. Then I noticed the wedding ring, the dog in the back, the carseat. Now fully deflated, I heard "my husband wants one of those cars."
