I saw on an AMMONYC vid... [ame=""]This one to be exact![/ame]...that a Fine-Line Paint pen was used to repair a bunch of rock chips in the paint.
The other day I was checking out my front end to make sure there wasn't any such chips and sure enough there was a small one that was pretty gnarly and while it is only 2mm in diameter or so it went straight down to the aluminum. Plus there is some scratching around the point of impact where the pebble must have rolled around on the surface.
So I ordered one of these pens in the hopes that I can use my tube of OEM touch up paint to repair the chip/scratch. Here's my question though...the clear coat...do I apply that with the paint pen as well or is brushing over the surface going to blend right in?
I just need to know what is going to yield the best results.
Thanks!
