I should probably do what you did! I haven't drove a stick car in more than 5 years, I'm rusty.

Might just go with stick when I go purchase it! :p

Hey - mow yer lawn.

Nice cars too. We have an all Ford family here with the wife having a 2013 Escape with the 2.0 Ecoboost. It's a hoot to drive - surprisingly fast off the line for a family SUV.

She loves hitting the go-pedal in my Mustang. When we get home, she is always so excited. Good for me. :D
Had to trade in my lawn mower to get the car. Hope my neighbors don't mind. (kidding lol, the blade needs sharpening and it's rained every day for the past week)
She got the Fusion last July. We both love it. It's just the SE with the base 4 cylinder 2.5L engine (I mistyped it earlier, fixed now). It has some pep. My Eclipse was a v6 with 263 advertised horsepower, and the Fusion could easily keep up with it when accelerating.

Given the how tight the clutch is on my S550, if you learned how to drive on this, you can drive anything! Congrats on a beautiful car and learning to row your own
Day 3 today, and I can now take off without stalling 8/10 times in traffic. I still get super nervous with other cars around me. At night with no traffic though, I'm good!

When I got my Eclipse back in 2007, I was young and naive. I wanted a manual, but was too afraid to take that chance. I also didn't have anyone to even show me how to drive a manual at that point. I've regretted getting the auto for the past 8 years. This time around, I told myself that isn't going to happen. It feels like I'm relearning how to walk on my own two feet again, with so much horsepower, torque, and a completely different transmission. Very enjoyable so far. Wouldn't have it any other way.

Such a beautiful car, congrats! any mods planned or are you going to leave it as is for now?
Leaving it as is mechanically, for now. It's plenty loud for me and the performance is not something I'm going to utilize for a while since I'm learning manual. I might spring for stripes and a black spoiler in the next year, but not really in a hurry. The car looks good as it is to me.
