Wow nice. Also, that's a great looking '14 v6 behind it, tastefully done 'Boss Light' with some wheels everyone would like 100x more if they were the 15 PP wheels. Black and yellow goes well.

Don't know how I missed this. Thank you! That V6, called Little Green, was a fun build. Just enough to really enjoy driving her, stand out from the crowd, and get up and go when you need it.

PoPo, hopefully we can! The prediction of snow here in the Pisgah Forest is not exactly what I want.

And BabiBlues, thank you! I now need to join the yellow Mustang registry.

Back to the car:
Wheel hop is annoying.
Shifting into second you can leave behind tire marks.
This car doesn't understand slow. She works harder to stay at 35 than she does climbing to 70.
Seats are super comfortable. But the auto-backup of the driver's seat at engine shut off is literally a pain for the passenger behind me!
Fit and finish is five star. All the way.
Not being able to use AppLink on the MFT screen is annoying. So is Apple's lack of support for Bluetooth messaging. Would be nice to be able to see on the screen that I got a text and determine if it's important enough to pull over and reply to.
The 401A sound system is pretty damn cool. Not sure why so much whinging in the other thread. I've not had it up over half volume and that was with the defrost running full tilt and me struggling to get to a meeting on time haha. It sounds great. Set it for driver listening and set the EQ to your liking and enjoy!
Passengers love the bolstered seat. Two ladies in the back seat were comfortable (read: drunk) enough to sleep in the seat on the way home last night.
Triple Yellow is amazing. There was a Boss 302 in yellow at the dealership yesterday. It looked drab and bland next to the Tricoat.
Steering wheel is finally the right size and feel.
Track mode is not for city driving. I do not recommend this if you have a commute like I do where you never go over 45.
I have a lot to learn about shifting in a modern car. I've never owned a manual in anything newer than an 87. My 69 Corvette has a hard and stuff clutch. Transition from gear to gear is smooth and easy. The Mustang seems to have a longer area where the clutch is disengaged or something I can't define. Second to third leads to lots of head bobbing. I can't fault the car for this. I'm just learning some more.

This car is humbling. And gorgeous. :)

More later!

LMAO... Same here! My dealer called yesterday and said he just got in a TY GT PP with a 400a, mine is a 401a (ordered), and asked if I wanted to look it over and take it for a spin... DUH!

I found the 1st gear parking lot pull nice and smooth, no issue easing out from a stop, the clutch felt light, but I could easily feel the point of engagement. The "oh crap" moment was shifting from 1-2 and 2-3 ( with moderate right pedal ). I entered into this rocking horse battle, it took me very much by surprise! Under WOT it was smooth and transitioned very nicely, except me hitting the Rev Limiter, but that's just getting adjusted to the short gearing of a 6 speed. I grew up on 4 speeds and the only manual muscle I've ever owned was in the 80's. I also found giving her light pedal was just fine, but something about that 1-2 and sometime 2-3 under moderate pedal threw me!

I don't claim to be an expert with a stick, but I feel I've got more experience than most. I learned on a farm with a CJ, drove school buses as a young man and have driven everything from a 3 on the tree 50 plymouth to right hand drive Toyota and Mitsubishi "patrol" vans in the military, those were interesting with one having a 5 speed on the tree and the other in the floor, on the left!!!

I guess it's just going to take some time getting adjusted to the amount of torque!!

svtenthusiast, I've not had a spare second to look in to this. I like it for me. But with passengers that's a no go. Gotta figure this out haha.

PoPo, thanks for the quote! I'm in almost the exact same boat. When I get some time to myself I'll catch up on that thread. I wonder what the tunes are doing for this, and the wheel hop.

Got a very unexpected call from my sales rep today. Took delivery at about 0930. Words can't begin to describe what I'm feeling right now. I'll post more pics and give my insight soon. In the meantime, meet Rachel. :)
AHHHHHHH!!!! I was so excited to see that you got your Mustang. I must say that my namesake (I am totally humbled) is one gorgeous Pony! ;)

Congratulations! Go enjoy that baby!

No problem, go into the settings and create a "MyColor" yellow. 5 Red, 5 Green, 1 Blue.

This works great! Last night I was playing with the numbers to get some different yellows. I'll see what I settle on. But, an awesome place to start!

Day three of ownership: I still reach for keys in an ignition switch. I also haven't quite gotten the hang of the lock and unlock using the door handle. I have a couple hours before work. Time to play in the driveway haha.
