Yep, at this point you are still FS with just the catback and really the biggest upgrade is the human between the steering wheel and pedals! I too am just getting started and figure I will get in a full season before I even think about upgrades. Even then I want to stay in FS, so just wheels (19x9s), 275 sticky tires for next year. I am a 'Vert so won't be truly competitive but out there for the sheer thrill anyway! Congrats on the race.

You are in FS. The biggest help you will get is new wheels and tires that are FS legal.
