Anyone have insight as to how these Warranties work?
Edelbrock E-Force supposedly comes with a 3/36,000 powertrain (engine, trans, rearend, etc) in force from vehicles in-service date and not the FI install date.
Whipple, I think, you can purchase a warranty, but unsure how much or what it covers. And they may still be working on the details.
I assume:
1) You must buy from and authorized reseller
2) I think you have to get it installed by an authorized installer.
But then, if there is a problem, who says it is a covered repair and who does the warranty repair?
I believe Roush and FRPP can work through the dealer if the dealer does the install around vehicle delivery so the warranty work is probably by the dealer.
