Hoping someone can answer this question for me.

Car is a 2020 GT Premium. I have replaced the fenders with the MP Concept's GT350 style fenders. I would like to take advantage of the side vents. Will the OEM GT350 liners work on a standard Mustang? Figured I'd ask the group before buying and paying for shipping.

Thanks in advance

If you'd like functional fender heat extractors that look a little less race track in appearance, without having to replace fenders, liners, and etc. here's a possibility.

Roush Fender Louvers

Is the purpose of the gt350 fender vents to vent heat from the engine bay not the wheel well? Or it assists with brake cooling? I know the Roush is for heat out of the engine above the liner, not from the wheel well but used in conjunction with the additional supercharger max cooling kit that adds more radiators in the sides. They have a temple to cut circle holes in the liner but toward the radiators.

My understanding is the GT350 fender vents are for brake cooling. In through the front bumper and exiting out the fender.

Looking to make the MP Concept GT350 fenders functional. Will know if the OEM liners work in a week or so. Car is still at the shop.

OP, I have the same idea, except I bought Anderson Composite carbon fiber fenders for a Saleen Black Label appearance. I bought GT350R fender liners to also try to take advantage of the brake cooling effect. Hopefully they do function. Will be taking the fenders to a body shop to have them painted.

I looked at the fender liners for a GT350 and found that indeed they are designed for brake cooling, having "louver-type" slots in the front and rear panels.

Update-

So, as I figured. They do not fit. Wider which makes sense. We all know the GT350 runs a wider front tire than a standard GT. Definitely could trim width, however some of the holes for body clips don't match up. Again, could make it work.

So, the top 2 body clip holes match up between the 2 liners. Using these to line things up, I cut the center strip out of the GT350 liner. Basically like a sadle. laid it over the GT liner and started marking things out. I cut out the vents from the GT350 liner. Laid them over the regular GT liner, marked them and cut the stock liner. Some rivets to hold in place, 8 tubes of JB Weld Plastic bonder and I must say they came out really better than I thought they would. I will post pics tomorrow after everything dry and I can move them.

Now to poke some holes in the lower grill for air flow.

A thought, or some thoughts. Are the MP Concepts fenders not as wide as OEM? Hence, the fender liners not fitting width wise. The Anderson Composite fenders I bought are .4 inches wider according to the specs, so maybe there won't have to be much, if any, trimming width of the liners. I'd also considered just cutting out some slots in the stock pieces for the same cooling effect and saving some money. It seems that adding the brake cooling slots would work in conjunction with the Performance Pack belly pan's air channels. From looking on the Ford parts website no other fender liners have those slots. Dag blasted hobby...

Brake cooling, and oil cooling (external oil cooler).
