Seems like everyone is doing progressive but im not a fan and others are not as well if you want the ideal handling set up. Almost all OEM user linear these days.

Steeda seems to have been the first on the market with springs last year and if i recall their first set of sport springs were linear and they later introduced a progressive version? Now between BMR and Steeda both offering Linear options. just wanted to hear some owners who use linear currently or if they switched from progressive and why.

Me personally i do not like progressive on the NY roads because of the softer coil rate during local driving it makes the car bounce like crazy. Even with my Kw v3 the car feels pretty damn good . Clearly i feel the progressive springs are too soft of a feel and unpredictable.

I am not looking to make the car ride like a cadillac i want a very firm, controlled sport feel like a BMW M3/M4 with their passive suspensions or even a Cayman same deal. those cars feel so balanced from the factory

i am trying out a set of Steeda ultralights next week and I am curious to see what others say so i can get a understanding what to expect from them. I may pair them with the OEM PP shocks or the FRP Track shocks as i have both.

I see in the classifieds lots of guys selling their linear springs after short use.
