Hi chaps,

For anyone who's taken delivery of their GT, could you do me a massive favour and see if you can see/photograph a sticker/label/barcode on the front and rear dampers?

I'm trying to work out whether UK cars already have the upgraded FR3 dampers or not? ETIS shows mine spec'd with 'Standard rear shocks' but I treat everything on there with a pinch of salt!

Thanks :)

Thanks Gibbo.

Interesting that they are FR3C. I wonder how different they are from the FR3 dampers if at all?

Is it just me or is the 3rd pic borked? Typically that's the most useful one (front damper)!

The Ford Racing ones are M-FR3A-M8 - so I guess they're different.

The pics Gibbo posted are the standard dampers for a UK GT. My question was whether they are the same as the FRPP FR3 dampers - but it appears that they are not.

I expect the stock ones are tuned for UK drivers, but perhaps not the same setup as the track spec dampers FR3C (UK stock) vs FR3A (FRPP track spec)

Which is very helpful - except for the fact that it's for an Ecoboost and I already have ETIS info for my own car ;)
No, the 'edit' was for a GT. Which, is a VIN i've got from another user - built 19.11.15. Thought it might help :)

Yes hence my question.... Fr3c vs fr3a what is the difference in damping spec and is it significant ?
