Way back when I tried 91, I ran low 13.30s with the tune + tune, and with the Lund tune ran high 12.80s. Step it up to 93, big difference, Ca 91 is really really bad.

I'm curious to see what folks have ran with 91 and 93 on the stock turbo. I'm betting the best times are low 12's.

I went straight to Methonol injection and on a 93 tune always ran very low 12s with a stock turbo at 110 to 112 mph. Our cars are all about the fuel. ( and the tuner ) Good fuel, go fast, piss fuel go slow.

With race fuel, you basically can Taylor your ET to the fuel you choose to run. Our cars dont have feelings, they all will run a certain ET and mph with X amount of boost and timing and good fuel. ( and a good tuner )

Guy above me was not on 93 when he made an 11 second pass. On straight 93 you are looking at mid low 12's at best i would imagine.

Yeah I'm basically at the point of even if I put a wastegate on my car and retune and get a transmission tune I won't catch up the cars I'm trying to race with. I'm souly at the point of needing meth injection or e30/straight e85 to compete on their level. I race a eurodyne stage 2 s3 last friday and was smoked pretty good.

Seems like fastest I'll get out of 91 octane is high to MAYBE mid 12s on a tire.... Don't really care about 93 since I live in Cali lol. Just trying to figure out what I should be shooting for on my 91 octane tune.

You have to mix it guys, I used Sunoco GT260 which is 104, 1.5 gallons of that to 8.5 gallons of 91. I always have a 2 gallon container in the trunk with fuel in it. Its a must have here in CA. I now have 2 gallons of e85 in the trunk at all times, im on that now, as those stations are limited. Trying to go fast on 91 fuel is very hard, and its simply not safe. The engine is constantly pulling timing, and your boost level will be low. You simply will have a low 13 high 12 second car, its basic math, power to weight ratio. Or run the boost and timing up, and you'll have a broke engine. Mix your fuel to 93, and run methanol injection, and you will have a very low 12 second car. ( if you have a good tuner ) promise .

Can someone please explain why running 91 is not safe? I read a couple of you guys mentioning that it's not safe.
I have bolt-one and running a 91 tune (Daily driver) and car feels amazing. Should I be worried about something?
