Has anyone here used the Covercraft bra on their S550? My concerns would be 1) How do you clean it when it's all bugged up and 2) What long term damage might it cause to the paint/plastic?

Normally I'll use QD with a MF after a drive to get all the bugs/dirt off. Maybe this would eliminate that need???

Thanks

What happened to Stu's reply??

As for the masks...looks kinda like lingerie for the car. :D

I have to wonder though, long term, wouldn't little particles of dust get trapped in the mesh and then vibrate against the plastic/clear coat? I can't imagine it's see through but does a better job than a hepa filter.

Thanks for sharing.

I would stay away from using a bra. I had one on a Supra and grit gets trapped between the hood and trailing edge of bra. The bra flaps around (even with spoilers) and grinds that grit into the paint. Besides, they look stupid and take too much time to R&R.

Using it for bugs is overkill. Just do what some on this forum are doing and get one of those pantyhose looking nets.

When i had mine on my corvette, i would hand wash it after a road trip and let it hang to dry. Had it for 3 years and lots of bug splatters, every time it was washed and put back on, it looked like new. Great look on the fronts of out mustangs tho.
