So I have a solo performance street catback (quad tip, x pipe, muffler delete)
Any way to put in a butterfly valve to control the sound? My neighbours are complaining and people on my street are too. I love the sound too much to downgrade. However, I would like to be incognito in the mornings and when I come home late night.

Any suggestions ? I know cutouts are available but my car already has a full catback and from the way I understand, electric cutouts are either straight pipe; or they close and let the air flow through your setup. Aka my catback, so it'll still be loud.

Lmk, any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Handy with a welder and cutting tools? You could put dual cutouts, but rather than cutout to open cutout to mufflers and back into main streamwith secondary cutout valves closing off straight pipe stream. Cutouts closed and main stream open be like normal solo with muffler delete.

Other than that put on mufflers, and cutouts to avoid the mufflers would be like you have now. Be tricky to have the no muffler cutouts after the j-bends. Before them will be considerably louder.

Just say they can deal with it. You have several cars so u could just drive another one if you leave early in the am

The only move would probably be to switch to a Resonated X pipe. Solo can also send you the Thunder version directly, which will lower the volume down a bit below 3k rpms.
