Exhaust Tip Removal

Due to a stress fracture on the edge of my Corsa exhaust tip, Corsa sent me a replacement tip under warranty. The problem is I cannot remove the old tip.

I have tried WD-40 and PB Blaster and the tip will still not budge. Does anyone here have any advice on how to remove this tip without cutting it off?

Try throw hot water and ice water after on it a couple of times.
Some times things build up between the pipes causing them to stick.

I use a hammer and a crowbar.

You could very carefully just cut a slit in the side with a cutter or angle grinder. VERY carefully. And make sure your sparks aren't shooting at the fuel tank.

I ended up taking it to a local muffler shop today after no success the past couple of weekend attempts. They had to apply heat to push it loose, but it only cost $10.00!
