Hey guys -

So it was just pointed out to me that right side is sticking out more than the left on my bolt on Magnaflow... I did it in the dark because of stupid working hours

It's not super noticeable, but I kind of can't unsee it at this point. Would it be problematic to remove and realign after 3-4k miles?

sounds like just needs slight adjustment

not a bad idea to make sure it's all tight anyways.

The only time I do it in the dark is if she's ugly........LOL

On a serious note, your fine with re-measuring and trimming if it needs to be done.

I've got about the same mileage on mine and I need to readjust since I've noticed some hitting during turns or bumps. After seeing the before and after video of the BMR cradle lockouts, I can see why I'm getting the pipes hitting.

The clamps need to be re-torqued after a trip or two. I usually do this at least twice and the mufflers stay put.

It would be a good idea to get under there and check everything out for sure even after just the first few drive cycles. Slight readjustment should get it taken care of.

I wonder if I can use this excuse on the wife to install my new Steeda springs I picked up last week.
"No Honey, I'm just re-adjusting the exhaust system since it's hitting. I'm not making mods (AKA: Spending HER money) Oh Damn! Look, I forgot to swap out the muffler springs while I was under here the first time. Better take care of that now!"
