Thinking about getting kooks long tubes, x pipe and keeping the stock exhaust. Has anyone done a step up like this? If so how does it sound? How much power did u make? Trying to save some money, keep the drone to minimum and add power

I would go with a tune and an xpipe for sound, best bang for the buck imo.

I am thinking about the same setup. I want the power of headers but don't want the drone. My 92 coupe with flowmasters sounded great but the drone would drive you crazy.

We are running the full ARH setup, no resonators, no cats..... zero drone. As a full system, I think it sounds amazing, the performance gain is there and the drone... is not.

I've found that the stock mufflers with headers almost sounds like there is a leak and hollow. Hard to explain but I personally don't like the tone.

We have plenty of customers running the full ARH setup and love the tone without the drone, also a few customers running the kooks setup with Corsa catback, louder but, no drone.

Let us know if we can help!

The kooks setup would sound great. It's still a nice sleeper combo. You get more tone and more power, but 0 drone for sure if you keep the stock resonator.

You can always add a cat back later if you want more

Let me know if we can assist in any way

I have ARH with stock mufflers and I agree, it doesnt sound good at all. I have heard ARH full system which includes ARH mufflers and it is amazing! Hypermotive will do you well:thumbsup:
