Looks like it really depends on who you meet and what they know about cars...
I have my ecoboost now for almost 2 months, never ever got the question if it's a V8. More likely the thing they ask is, is it Petrol or Diesel?
Most people don't even know what car it is...
And if I talk to them about 4 cylinder and V8, they look like I talk chinese.
Already got 4 times the question: 'Is that your white ferrari?' :doh:

yeah I got the ferrari question very often (and in the land of ferrari is really awkward)
I got only one time the question if it is a 5.0, and when I said "no it's a 2.3 turbo" he replied "oh so it's a fake mustang!!" laughing and going away with his.... 15 year old Clio.
But the most common question is "what car is it???" and when I reply "It's a Mustang", the following question is "where do this came from??"
