To start off, this kit something very special. I've been using Essex products for many years on all of my personal sports cars. They always do a great job bringing an affordable yet remarkably performing brake kit to the market.
This kit is meant to save weight, perform much better than stock and be extremely reliable. The hard anodized finish means no flaking paint!
The front kit uses a 6 piston AP caliper with a 372mm 2 piece disc. It also saves over 30lbs over the GT PP setup!!!! Pads are extremely reasonable price wise as well as replacement discs.
The rear kit uses a 4 piston AP caliper with a 340mm 2 piece disc. It saves 12lbs over the OEM rear setup. The only downside is that you will lose your rear parking brake. This means that the rear kit will be directed more towards the diehard track enthusiast.
