That's because you shouldn't do it.I mean it wouldn't be my first choice either but it's the only feasible option if you want an electric cut out to bypass the stock cat. Just giving the OP what I see the only solution to his request of being able to flip a button and have a stock cat and then go back to no cat. Where else would you run 3" bypass? There's not enough room to squeeze it by the stock cat and you need it out of the engine bay. I guess you could run it straight down under the engine bay but still backfire under my engine would not set well with me.

External wastegates and open exhausts sure "sound cool" for the first couple days, and then it's just annoying.
I enjoyed my car so much more when it was quieter. I didn't have to look around for cops when I'd want to go wot and most of all I wasn't gassing myself with the windows up or down.
But I digress, it's his car and if that's what he wants to do, then let it be so.
Not necessarily.why no e/cutout on the downpipe? Open loud and will outflow anything. Closed and sounds stock.
Not necessarily.
Since I hit the road course with my car an open exhaust is a no no.
NO WAY IN HELL IMA PUT A HOLE IN THE HOOD.
