My drivability is fine. Has been on every tune (and I've had a few from them) lol I'm actually driving with the boost delay pill out now. There is a tiny hiccup occasionally on a mild half throttle acceleration during the shifting. But honestly it's nothing to cry about. I haven't experienced the warm start dying in months.

Interesting, how much timing are u seeing in the log? I can’t see hitting the limiter hurting u more then .2 but what do I know, lolol

Wouldn’t surprise me that your canned tune runs very mild timing which I understand for a warranty

The car hits a maximum of 12.5 degrees of timing on the stage 1 93 tune unless I'm reading it incorrectly. lol

What about as the timing ramps in, is it seeing more down low and then pulling it away as rpm goes up?

I bet Dalton would say even on 93 that’s pretty SOFT

This spring when the track opens back up we will be putting my car head to head with an 2018 GT PP1 A10 car that is N/A on an E85 tune with a much more aggressive transmission settings. It should be interesting to see what his 30 degrees of timing is compared to my 12.5. lol

Remember your never gonna run E85 so even with a tune u wouldn’t see that kinda timing with a boost application but 12.5 looks LOW even for 93

Edelbrock is doing this for the warranty

In less than 3 years, I WILL be running an e85 setup. Not 30 degrees of timing... but more than 12.5. It's much easier to get and our 93 here has ethanol in it and sucks. You'll see that when I finish my dyno video. lol

Not to rehash old trouble, but my car ran 10.89 @ 127mph with a PBD tune, cat delete and ET Streets and a slipping belt. My problems with the EB tune was indeed transmission related and had to be fixed with an aftermarket tune. Most of the guys happy with the EB warranty tune seem to be running the MT82 or 3.15 gearing in the A10.

I will absolutely vouch for an aftermarket tune! I’m an auto tuned by Lund. Couldn’t be happier! Money well spent!
