just rode in a whipple car A10 that made 767/690 i was left wanting more up top as it didnt pull like either of my last 2 Centri cars did and 1 made 735/595 and the other 801 /646
Strange i always thought the Whipple Gen V pulled all the way to 8k depending on pulley according to almost all dyno's graphs. I am torn apart also by which one i want. I was pretty stuck on whipple, then moved towards EB until i read all the issues people are having with the fuel injectors? and the eb fuel rails. Also After putting a friends 700whp+ FRS back together im kinda moving towards turbo again.. BUT something about american muscle and a supercharger on top pulls at my heart strings.

But, remember what feels fast is not always the fastest. Being used to all the power hitting north of 5k is just a different powerband.

Never took it to the track. I believe @olasaunt was well into the 10's with his on the Whipple tune if I'm not mistaken.
I have a 201`7 Whipple 2nd Generation Stage 2 with 92 octane plus Boostane and the last two passes last Saturday
10.80ET 132 MPH
!0.71ET !32 MPH
Whipple makes a great tune and I am not going spend $1000 for after market tune to a few vendors that never answer their phone Just Saying

My stock a8 hellcat ran 10.77 130mph i would think a new coyote on 9psi would fall into the 10.50 135 mph with no effort. My 3v with a vortech on 93 ran 10.17 137. Think i may just go with a Vortech V3 JT all my Centrifugal cars were faster than all my twin screw cars and Centrifugald all ran much cooler and way cooler intake air temps too .

I am just stating the facts at our Modern Muscle Class at Woodburn,Or
There were 3 Dodge Hellcats at that race, one ran 10.99 ET,one ran11.10 and one ran 10.40 and that was modified, pulley change on race gas.All of us were running MT Drag Radials.
Your just a better driver than us and you should just go with the Vortech because that sure must work for you.
My Whipple sure is fun on pump gas!

130 mph in stock hellcat? Must have been low DA and 40 degrees. Lol.

Most I have seen at my track is 123-125.

We all know that track conditions and weather conditions are a big part of how any motor performs on a given day and time.I sure my Whipple Mustang would have run just fine on days your Hellcat was running those great times.Just stating the facts.

You are leaving a lot on the table sticking with the Whipple tune. While the Whipple tune is ok and drives decent I picked up 6 mph and dropped 6 tenths with nothing more than a PBD tune. Both tunes were on a 3.625 pulley and 93 and boostane.

Ok so can we get a vote on this which one you would choose and Why !!! also i plan on E85 eventually but right now 9k is my budget so a complete kit on 93 is what i have to choose i am leaning with the Edelbrock ..
I just installed a gen 5 stage 1 Whipple kit on my 2019 Bullitt, which is a manual transmission. I did not see if you are installing yourself or having a shop do it. If self install, the Whipple kit is very complete like OEM. The connectors, hoses, clamps, electrical are really spot on. The look of both the Whipple and Edelbrock are both gorgeous (?).

Comparing the Whipple to the Roush TVS2300 I had on my manual trans 11 GT I would say the TVS had more low end torque. That said there is no comparison on top end. It pulls somewhat like a centri (which I had on my 2009 Bullitt). Drivability is truly excellent. Like OEM. More low end torque right off idle, but not like the TVS which I would guess is the cas with Edelbrock. I actually didn't like it because it would cause wheelspin because of the quick off idle torque. Ran good, don't get me wrong but my best times at the DS were shifting at 6500, not 7K.

I have the Whipple tune which is tuned for 91 octane min and will respond to 93 making a bit more power. Since our gen 3 coyotes LOVE RPM, I would say Whipple. BTW gas milege is really good!

I recently went with the Edelbrock 2650 kit on my 2019. The down low power is great, and the fit/finish is definitely OEM like. All the hoses are pre-formed with connectors, etc. I love the way it looks under the hood, almost factory. There are 2 concerns I would keep in mind though:

1) The fuel rail design does suck, it took hours of trial and error to finally get them tightened with no leaks. It was extremely frustrating and almost made me take the kit off and return it for a Whipple. I am not looking forward to upgrading the injectors for E85.

2) The Edelbrock tune is garbage. I have constant surging and bucking in the low RPM range when boost first comes on. It's so bad the car will go into limp mode (throws a tq table calc code). I am already working with PBD for a custom tune. If you get the Edelbrock, just budget and take into account a custom tune, you will want one I guarantee it.

WOW,What are your mods and are you still running your stock transmission and convertor and 72# injectors with the PBD Tune?
