Any speculation as to what performance mods Roush will offer for the EcoBoost RS1 Package?

At a mere $5,000 premium on top of the Mustang, I would consider this route over going EB Premium with PP :headbonk:

On a side note, I named my dog Roush, so I may be partial to the idea anyway... :D

"ROUSH Exhaust System with Quad Tips
Prepped for Activ8™ Exhaust"

Anyone have knowledge on this?

I'm assuming a Roush Axel-back and the "Activ8" may be an active adjustable volume exhaust. Can't find much info on it.

I find it interesting that Roush doesn't even rate the RS1 at more than the stock (and already underrated) 310, even with the exhaust.

Hmm shows all versions with 6 pot Brembo's. Doesn't mention brake upgrades anywhere in their literature. I'm thinking all the photos are of a converted GT with PP. Near as I can tell, short of the exhaust, it's all just an appearance package. (Body Kit) And in the case of the 4 and 6 cylinder cars is rather misleading unless they actually put the 6 pot Brembo's on them. But seeing as how they mentioned things like a shifter ball and side skirt graphics you'd expect them to be crowing about a brake upgrade. Especially if it were included in the base price.

The horsepower ratings are unchanged as I'm sure they didn't do anything to the tunes of these cars.

Now if I were in the market for a V6 the RS version would definitely be worth looking into as Ford has essentially abandoned upgrading that model.

Too bad they didn't go all out and actually put performance in front of lipstick on these. Don't mean to sound so negative but I've always cared 10 times more about improving performance and not so much for "Sticker Power".

You're correct about the brakes.

Similar items need clarification. For instance, rear end ratio. Are these (S1) coming with the stock gearing or the PP 3.55? Suspension? I dont see anything about roush tuned suspension either. Or are they just factory PP suspension? Are these not available in the premium models as well? Only show increase on "base model Mustang" on the site.

If it really is base model, the stock EB PP will still be the better performing car. And with price in line with the premium PP, none of my favorite creature comforts are included. Heated and cooled leather seats, 8" touch screen, and those kick ass aircraft switches!
