Hello everyone!

Just purchased a 17' Ecoboost PP 6spd manual. Within first week of ownership I've installed COBB V3 tune. I'm running 93 octane (Illinois), but have heard horror stories of engine problems due to inaccurate octane levels at gas stations, so I've tuned mine at stage 1 91 octane.
I
there a big difference in the 91 vs 93 tune files? Am I being overly cautious by running 93 on a 91 tune?

I apologize if this has been addresses before, did try to search but haven't seen any threads addressing this specifically.

Interesting question, especially since I have pretty much the same car, 17 PP manual, Cobb stage 2.

From my limited knowledge (and less experience), I'd say putting 93 on a 91 tune shouldn't do much harm. 91 on a 93 tune might be more dangerous.
