Basically same as he posted below expect with the 19x9 b/c I have the PP wheels. I just wanted an idea of the difference with a 275/40 setup.what size brotha?

The DWS06 is a A/S brothaNice! Continental dw06 or A/S?
Nice setup man. I never plan to do springs and my thought with going to a 275 was to give the car a little wider and aggressive stance. Would that difference be significant for it to bulge though? I felt like 265 didn't make sense either. This is with the stock wheels obviously and stock size tires (255) but with 1" spacers lowered on Steeda Progressives. You can get 275s on the wheel but it's going to bulge a bit. If you stay with the stock wheels, they're going to be tucked without spacers.
I know. That's why I put just dw and then A/S.The DWS06 is a A/S brotha
Just making sure brotha.I know. That's why I put just dw and then A/S.
Like I said, you can put 275s on the stock 9" wheel but I don't think it's going to do what you want. It will be a little worse for handling too. Personally if you aren't going to lower it, I think you're better off leaving it all as is.Nice setup man. Appreciate the insight, and I'm not a pro with the detailed specifics of wheels/tires either. Also, it helps knowing how some setups will look. Literally all I need is tires - wheels will stay and no plans for springs. Why would the handling be worse though?Like I said, you can put 275s on the stock 9" wheel but I don't think it's going to do what you want. It will be a little worse for handling too. If you lower it without getting a more aggressive offset, the wheels look too tucked, especially in the front. If you just put spacers on or get wheels with a more aggressive offset, it makes the wheel gap look worse. Of course those are all my opinions. ;)
I'm certainly not an expert on it either, just a lot of years listening to others. My understanding is that when the tire is too wide for the wheel, that stretching causes instability, it can leave a floaty feeling on turns. Maybe someone that knows more can chime in?Appreciate the insight, and I'm not a pro with the detailed specifics of wheels/tires either. Also, it helps knowing how some setups will look.
