I just noticed tonight that the dual zone climate control in my car is horrible. I had my side set on 70 and my wife was hot and turned her side down to 65. Cold air started blasting out of all of the vents. I turned my side up further and it slowed down a little. It was exactly 70 degrees outside so it really shouldn't have been blowing much at all. I noticed when I'm alone in the car and it's not in "dual" mode it'll intermittently start blowing hard out of the vents. The a/c control on this car is terribly bad. It's weird because in my wife's 2013 Explorer and my 2012 Focus it always works flawlessly. Never an issue. Anyone else have issues with theirs?

Sinister15GT,
Don't expect there to be much of a difference in temperature. I've owned several cars with dual-zone, currently a Honda Accord, and there isn't any noticeable difference in temperature.

Well, it's kinda hard to control the temp at settings in a large open area. But, take it out of auto and it won't start blowing harder and softer on you.

I wouldn't say its terrible. It works great for me and makes me and the passenger happy.

Well like I said it works great in both my Explorer and Focus so there's really no reason why it shouldn't in this car. It's totally different though.

I know taking it out of auto will do that but I shouldn't have to. It's the whole point of having automatic climate control. It's either not blowing or it's blasting with nothing in between. Neither of my other 2 Fords do it.

You need to get it looked at by dealer. I set mine to 69 gigidy on the driver side and my wife likes it set to 78 all the time and it blows quite on both sides. You $hit is broke
