I've had the actuator for my dual zone climate control replaced under warranty 2 times already. This has required 4 trips to the dealer because they insisted they needed to diagnose the issue before they would order the part and then I had to bring the car back to have it installed.

I noticed yesterday morning that the passenger side was blowing cold air again while the drivers side was blowing hot while both zones were set to max heat. I'm really getting tired of dealing with this. I had the actuator replaced about a month ago and it's already gone bad.

Anyone know what my options are to get this handled once and for all?

Thanks.

I had the same thing happen to my 2015 GT. I would only get heat out of the 2 drivers side vents and everything else was blowing cold. It was like that the day I drove it off the lot I just didn't know it until winter time came and I needed heat. Took them almost 1 yr to fix (because parts were always on back order). They replaced the door actuators a couple of times and that fixed it for about a week each time and then back to the same condition. Called Ford and started a ticket with them. Gave the service department 1 more attempt before I filed "Lemon Law". They had to replace the whole vaporator system in the car. Which means they had to take the whole dashboard out to replace. So far... so good. But I'm nervous about keeping the car past it's warranty period.... Good luck!

Thanks for the reply. I'll have to go the same route, I guess. I can't keep taking it back for repair every month. Any rattles in the dash after it was removed and reinstalled?

I'm also wondering about keeping this car past the warranty period. Last month I had a rear wheel hub and ABS sensor replaced after the AdvanceTrac threw a code out of nowhere.

Gone through this myself, blend actuators changed, lasts a couple of days then back to no heat one side. Then diagnosis was wiring loom bad connection.Dash out new wiring loom fitted. Lasted 3 months then played up again, bad actuator again, fixed again so far so good.
