Driveway austin

Anyone here familiar with this school? I have a non PP GT, but I am interested in taking their foundations of road racing course to become more experienced with my Mustang, particularly in using the paddles. I don't intend to take it on a track other than this as my car is at 3000 miles so it is broke in but the brakes and tires are still pretty new. Online reviews are good...just curious if anyone here had used this school.

I have not, but I have used the "Performance Driving School" that the folks at Texas World Speedway in College Station put on. They run a great novice program with in car instructors. If you can't find any good information on Driveway Austin, I'd say give them a shot.

Haven't taken their classes yet, but I've been to their facility for cart racing on Sunday's (real fun btw), and met the owners.

Seems like a good place to learn at. I say give it a go.

Bill rocks!

Solidly recommend based on people skills and driver skills.
Bill Dollahite (former Ferrari driver) and his son Scott are quality people.
Have riden with Bill a couple times including a recovery/limit check in an Evora prepped for a Lotus event. Of course he used the highest speed section of track to demonstrate recovery from chassis upset above 100. Lolz. Mad skillz he has and the Evora is amazing in skilled hands.
We used to talk about our industry experiences as we have both done test work and support for marketing events such as ride and drives, etc. and I believe he is still active with Lotus and Pirelli.

Edit: to clarify, I have not done driver training with Bill or his staff. I did mine in late 90s thru 01 in Japan and US.

Good review. I am going to try to do this in the future...maybe I can convince my wife to do this as a Christmas gift.
