Hi All,
The other day someone backed up into my drivers side mirror. The Mirror Cover popped off and had a few dings, but not too noticeable. The main issue I see is that the whole mirror where it attaches to the door is a bit loose (it hangs down just a bit and isn't as secure as it should be). I took it to a body shop today because earlier in the week someone side wiped my car and damaged my quarter panel and bumper. The mirror damage happened later the same week.. tough week :(
When I saw this happened and my mirror was loose, I didn't try to pull it off and reattach it, I just left it as it is, i didn't want to risk damaging it more. When I dropped it off earlier today, I showed one of the mechanics and he told me he would look at it and try to tighten things up, but also that the whole mirror assembly may have to be replaced.. Is that true or am I getting BS because they want to rip me off?
Thanks
