You can only expect to be reimbursed or take the deduction if you are operating the car for business. Commuting to/from work doesn't count.

Your employer is ripping you off. The IRS sets standard milage rates, currently at 57.5 cents. I don't think there is anything forcing your employer to use that rate, but a lot of companies do. You can get some of that that money back by deducting the difference on your taxes though.

Ford has expressed interest in supporting CarPlay and Android Auto, but they have also been very explicit in saying that it will not replace Sync. Who knows when/how Ford will choose to integrate CarPlay and Android Auto. Nothing is official yet. The SYNC 3 UI looks terrible right now IMO...

Ending up purchasing a 15 GT this weekend. Got it for Invoice - Incentives ($1000+$750). Mustangs are pretty limited up here in New England, So Invoice was the best I could do before rebates.
