Hi Guys,
Anyone here do drift events or just hoon around at a track donut pad? I've been wanting to do donuts, drifts, etc at one of these events for a few reasons: To learn better car control in general, to learn my car behavior better, to have fun in a safe and controlled environment.
I bought a used 4x set of these wheels from a local seller for around $300 to use on rear wheels for drifting events. I put on some used 245/45/19 Potenza summer tires on 2 of them but they've been sitting for months now since I haven't really gotten the chance to go to a drift event yet or even test fit them. Offset calculators show that they will fit just fine and puts them with 3mm extra clearance than my current rear wheels. I believe they will clear my rear brake calipers without issue as well since they aren't bigger on PP1 cars.
Any tips or advice for me going into my first drift day? any advice for a 10r80 mustang? Thanks!
