This past weekend was the 49th year that Cobra Club of America has held a track event for its members and other Ford owners at Willow Springs—this was not an open day put on by Willow Springs itself. Park says it's been for Ford cars only (or Ford-powered vehicles only) since the 1990s after organizers noticed having multiple marques on track led to more dangerous situations. The Ford restriction was suggested by the club's insurance company, not born out of a hatred for Chevys.

The bolded part sounds like complete bullshit to me. That is more of an issue with the driver, not what they are driving. I also highly doubt the insurance company gave a restriction to Fords only. The track organizer clearly saw him pull in a C8 and it passed tech....the whole exchange didn't sound staged to me.

I like the kid he is knowledgeable about driving on and off the track and usually has the facts about things he covers which is spot on. This would change my thinking is this is true I know he likes the c8 but no one is thrashing him for having a c8 we already know the gt500 is a better ride I just went to Sebring a few weekends ago and the c8 was no compression to the 500. One thing I didn’t understand is he knows the ps4 cant handle all of the power on the track and when he cooked them he replaced with another set of ps4s why not throw the cup2s on the base model
That being said if this true it sucks he would stage such bullshit and then you would have to question everything else and wonder whats bullshit Im with u it sounds like bullshit first off your right u have to get your car tech reviewed why didnt the track personal stop it there for the c8 the next factor is before u get on the track u have to show your wrist band why didn’t they notice the c8 and not let him proceed Im going with u this sounds like bullshit or mistake on the track personal Ill give the kid the benefit of the doubt since he always seems to be straight up however if its true it sucks to do something like that for ratings which i know equals dollars But before jumping to conclusions I would like to see if he responds and give him the benefit of doubt
