DP install: Doable on ramps?

I'm planning to install my dp Sunday and was wondering if it's possible to do with a pair of ramps. I do have some hacks tans that I can use if needed. But, I prefer the ease of the ramps.

Yes, it should be doable on ramps. I used jackstands that didn't get it terribly high up, but it was still easy.

I checked this the other day when I was installing my IC. There's no way I'll be able to do a downpipe install using my ramps. I have 56" race ramps if it makes a difference, and I had nowhere near enough clearance to reach the connection to the catback. Might be different with different ramps though. I would just pull it up on the ramps and take a look underneath to see how far you can reach back.

Mine has been on and off a few times using floor jack and stands. Easy job

Yeah, now that I think about it I tried before to install my rear trans mount bushing when doing an oil change and it was a no go. I'm pretty sure the dp/cb joint is even further back. Looks like it's time to get over my fear of working under a car on jack stands. I do wish I had my jacking rails. At least now I can do the tranny bushing too.

You can do it on ramps. I've done tons of work on mine with RhinoRamps. There's not a ton of room like having it on a lift, but it's more than doable.

I decided to do the jack stands. Worked like a charm.
