This subject occupied much discussion on the Australian thread as well. (here if you're interested; http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php?t=41050).

The "problem" was solved by Gnome - here are the money shots:
1. http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showpost.php?p=1066194&postcount=56
2. http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showpost.php?p=1071065&postcount=66

Now we have a sticky for the "Gnome spare" http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php?t=65225

Hope this helps.

Okay, compressor. No problem with the connection, no major air loss. Compressor don't work though. Dead as a dodo.

Trip to the dealer tomorrow then

To solve the air hose problem buy one of these and keep it on your compressor:

http://www.oxfordproducts.com/motorcycle/brands/oxford/tyre_and_wheel_care/oxford_valve_access_tool/

Most motorcycle shops stock Oxford products and I think Hafords do too.
Mine will sit in the plastic in the house, got a spare tire for her, cant believe no one has decided to make a spare for the Euro Stang, they would make a killing
Ford who are really all about money, are missing a big trick here
