So I was trying to get tpms sensors reset on some new tires and after they plugged the machine into my car, my dome lights started flashing (a slow flash). I didn't notice it until I left. My only options are on or flashing.
I took my car back the next day and they don't know how to fix it. My friend found on another forum where the same thing happened to a 2015 owner, but it didn't list how he fixed it.
Help! =D

The dome light will flash anytime that the Body Control Module (BCM) programming isn't completed. So if you didn't complete the TPMS training procedure, the dome light will flash to indicate that programming isn't complete. There will also be a DTC (B1182) in the BCM.

Have the dealer complete the TPMS training procedure with the proper tool; that will eliminate the issue.

I know this thread is old but this issue just came up on my 2017 Mustang GT. I called the tire shop back and they had no idea why my dome lights would be flashing. I googled it and thank goodness this came up!
