I'm looking to up my YouTube video game and was considering buying the Osmo Pocket 3 and DJI Mic 2. They both seem to be well reviewed online. Does anyone have any experience with them? I'm hoping to attach the DJI Mic 2 to the rear diffuser to really pick up on the exhaust sound. Any feedback welcome, thanks.

Both are decent products and have their place in the world. I always preach that it's not always the gear but rather the eye and being creative. I've seen amazing work done on a phone and dog shit on a 50k dollar camera.

I would be a bit concerned about the mic attached to the rear of the car. It's a bit tiny and might require some creativity to get a good mount. It's also not usually designed for "tough and rough" environment such as being attached to a vehicle. Many people in the industry attach an action cam (go pro or insta 360) which have eco systems designed to support mounting to a car and use the internal mic on that for the sound while driving

always happy to help and provide advice.

Thanks 👍

The mic I was thinking that besides the built-in clamp, I could also tether it with fishing line to make sure I don't lose it.
