I was curious how much this would cost me and so I called many shop around me for quotes. Every shops asked for almost $500 to blackout all the lights and around $400 if I bring my precut vinyls.

With those quotes, I decided to spend today installing them myself. I have never done this before. I watched a few videos on Youtube and went out buy all the tools.

Here is the break down of how much it cost me:

Precut vinyl via Ebay: $40.99 (here)

Heatgun from Harbor Freights: $14.99
Extension cords: $12.00 (dont buy if you have a garage or already own)
Spray bottle: free or $1

and your time.

here is the resolve:

Where I messed up because this is the very first one I put down. I was very nervous. :(

$400-$500 is so insane! Nice job, probly won't notice that mess up unless your real close anyway. I did the same on mine the first time around but thankfully anchor room has the goof proof deal. Looks good.
