Discussion: ABS, Advancetrac, Line-Lock etc

So I am wanting to see what people are doing with the OEM Electronics, Line Locks etc.

Has anyone installed an aftermarket line-lock yet?

Do any of you have issues with the ABS/Advancetrac when going WOT, doing a burnout or when launching? For example..."Service Advancetrac" flashing on the dash when doing the above, even with everything "turned off" ?

Has anyone attempted to connect the OEM Line Lock to a toggle? Instead of going through the OEM Electronic controls? Possible?

I've had my "service advanctrac" come on after a hard launch about 10 times

I use the line lock for burn outs. Very effective. No need to move it to a different switch in my opinion. No issues with any of the electronics. I turn everything off before I make my way to the burn out box.

Alright i read the manual. I'm still confused how to set it. Can someone give me the simplified explanation?

I use the line lock all the time and have had no issue with the advanced track. It might happen after harder launches than I am able to obtain on motor and drag radials. Has anyone 100% confirmed that traction control comes back on when you use launch mode? I am fairly certain it does but not 100% positive.

Launch control uses traction control . If you look at a datalog ,you will see the traction control in effect .

Exactly! That's why I don't use it. I was way slower with slick using launch control. I am starting to use a free 2 step using Hp tuner now!

That sequential shift mod really cuts the ET down

Launch control uses traction control . If you look at a datalog ,you will see the traction control in effect .

What pid would u look at to see if traction control is interfering?Would it be torque sourse?

When I have time, I am going to look into this more (setting LL up on a toggle)

I am having ABS issues for some reason...and I cannot figure them out. Due to this, I have to pull my ABS fuse....and due to that, I cant use my LL.

I wish there was more time in the day.

When I go WOT....advancetrac freaks out.

When I try to use the LL...about half a second into it, the advancetrac freaks out and the LL stops working.

Cruising around though? All fine. Only WOT or burnout.
