Worth a shot asking this I guess...

Has anyone managed to get anything off the price of their Mustang at all (even £1)?

Just wondered if there was any negotiation to be had on sticker price, extras, finance, etc at all?

In not, at least mats and fuel...?

all i managed was a full tank of fuel, and free GaurdX Paint and Interior protection. (£299)

I went with that dealer for my last 3 cars and they always offed me great discounts but there was physically nothing the could offer me.

With the demand there is no room for discount at all :( you can probably push for free mats and a tank of fuel but that's about it

As said about discount above, it isn't available on the Mustang. It has been priced extremely well for the car!!

I was cheeky, asked around dealers cars, pre-reg cars etc and being able to buy one of these at discount, even the 'Demo Cars' that you see in stores most have names to them, and these people aren't getting discounts.
The 'Dealers cars' (As in company cars for salesmen) is a 2.3 EB, which isn't an issue for me as that's what i'm getting, however apparently they must hold these for 2 years before allowing them to be sold, not sure if j-rowe14 can confirm

I'll be asking for a full tank of fuel purely because of my dealers lack of consistency, missinformation etc and as a good will gesture (also because dropping 31k on a car to just drop 60 on a tank of fuel straight after is a bit of a ballache) - Without sounding too douchey, for the most of us whom have walked into a dealership without having to ask 150 questions on the car and already know it, we've made the dealers lives a hell of a lot easier and probably one of the easiest sales they've had to mediate, so it's a nice thing to at least try and ask for (the full tank o' fuel)

I have no idea about how long we have to keep our demo vehicles for. I am sure that Ford want us to keep them for a certain time due to the wait time on new orders but I don't get involved in that.

Ah okay, my dealer had told me for the company cars that it was two years through policy... But fair enough!

Ok, I know that certain companies have different policy's regarding company cars.

I'm sure Mr Barratt stated on here somewhere that there's no discounts, not even for Ford employees.

There aren't, and any Landrover/ford discounts can't be used against any mustang or the new RS's

Surely you always get a free tank of fuel when you are buying a car at a dealership.

I would presume that this is not automatic, re the tank of fuel, they can keep the flowers for my Mrs and give me the fuel instead.

The last three cars I've bought, they've given my Mrs a huge bouquet of flowers, twice, they wouldn't fit in the boot!!! (the kind that come in a square vase type thing)
