Im just hoping that when they release the new colours that those who have ordered after the discontinuation of the 3 colours can change to 1 of the 3 new ones as i originally wanted CO and DIB was my backup colour, but since i can't have them i want to change grabber blue if possible.

you can't get DIB, CO and Guard anymore, was confirmed by numerous ford sources. You also can't get the 3 new colours until they're available, consider it a 'black spot'

In "theory" once the US MY17 order books open, then the colour change will replicate into the UK & Europe order systems, so I would expect the new colours to be "available to order" sometime in mid to late April - or later, given the way that Ford seem to use wet string to link their systems together!

yes that seems logical, however orders from now until MY17Open, it's -6 colours (blue, blue, Metalic white, Guard, DIB, CO), when MY17 opens it'll be 0'd out (+Blue, +Blue, + MW, -Guard, -DIB, -CO)

Every country in Europe has a different allocated amount of production slots spread over the entire year. Sales also vastly differ per country so the term in which the first allocated and unused production slot is available varies from country to country. This is why delivery times in some countries are much shorter than in others.

If Ford UK says that the 3 old colors are no longer available than that simply means that all their allocated production slots until June 2nd (end of production MY2016) are now filled with existing orders and that any new order you place now will be produced after that date, therefore be a MY 2017 and therefore will not be available in DIB, CO or Guard. It's as simple as that.

It also means that you can now order one in Lightning Blue, Grabber Blue or White Platinum. Perhaps the UK order system is not ready to confirm that color, but your dealer will be able to change the order to any of these 3 as of april, way before it will go into actual production.
