Anyone else? Even after spraying down with wheel cleaner and hosing down to get the spots off they are still dingy and dirty looking. How to keep them clean looking? With the 19" black wheels the rustiness really sticks out and I can't stand it.

They are rusty because they are wet from being washed. They are made from cast iron which oxidizes when they get wet. Drive your car after washing to remove the rust or buy ceramic rotors :)

Just flash rust...drive it after washing

Thank you for an actual reply! Lol

And now I'm going to look into ceramic rotors :headbang:

the Point is, to move your car (and apply the Brakes to dry the Rotors to prevent rusting) directly after washing BEFORE they turn rusty to avoid spreading that rusty brakedust over the freshly washed wheels

I understand that. But they stay dingy. It gets rid of the big rusty looking spots, but it doesn't solve the problem completely. They still look dull and dirty. I want them to look nice and clean. If getting ceramic or zinc coated rotors is the resolution, that's what I'll go after :)
