Different batteries for different climates?

This may sound like a weird question, but does Ford put in different batteries for different climates, such as much more cold cranking amps for colder climates vs. less cold cranking amps for milder climates? Ive been noticing that my car sometimes sounds like the battery is slowly dying when I start it up early in the morning (4am, about 48-50 degrees). When I was living in HI the car always cranked up fine (granted the lowest temps when I bought the car was in the mid 60's) but up here it sounds like its cranking slowly. Does anyone else's car do that in really cold weather (48 is really cold for me :lol Should I be concerned?

Not usually, there are times where they change the battery group based on battery manufacturer availability. That might have a slight change in CCA but regardless it's the same 12v system with a lead acid battery that's used to start it.

Only thing that might cause a slow start would be a possibly bad battery or weak battery, or a draw on the electrical system.

Hence, it seems anal but I always turn of all radios, AC, accessories before I shut my car off to prevent any unnecessary load upon start.
