The car did indeed have no air bags so it is being sent back to the factory

Took delivery of the one that my dealer had ordered with the wrong components that I had requested. Luckily it was a more expensive model (Nav instead of Premium Trim) and they were gracious enough to cover the difference for the inconvenience. :clap2:

That is the only explanation for a new car missing airbags that makes sense.

What the heck, how do you not install airbags? Sorry if anyone here works at the plants, but my goodness what the heck are these people doing half the time, some of these cars come out butchered, Ford must have cut the QC out completely. I feel bad for you OP, three months in and then this, what a bunch of BS.

Maybe it is a B.S. story because the air bag deployed by mistake and they have to send it back to Flat Rock to be reinstalled.
