Has anyone truly debadged their Mustang? I just picked up my '18 and I'm not a fan of the chrome or black 5.0. Shame Ford decided to drill into the car to set them, 3M would have been just fine. Anyway, what's been done about those holes if anyone has done this? would prefer not to have to take it to a body shop and get the whole panel painted with Royal Crimson...

you would either have to buy the ecoboost fenders in your color or find someone wiling to trade and rear decklid would be buying a badgeless one like from MMD

I loathe badges and tacky trim pieces on my cars. I always debadge my cars where I can; my WRX must have bad 5/6 emblems on the trunklid. It was obnoxious.

It sucks the 2015's have holes drilled for the 5.0 emblems.

On my '15 GT I wasn't going to pay for a pair of undrilled fenders or have body work done to fill the holes.

All I could do was swap to color matched (Magnetic) 5.0 emblems that don't stick out like chrome or black would.

I also swapped over to a badgeless decklid filler panel. Next up is eliminating the pony grill emblem.

Hold on, my 18 has holes drilled for the 5.0 badges? Good thing I read this before I tried to remove them next weekend

Yeah 18s have the holes too. With Crimson....I'd just get the 5.0 badges in matte black and be done with it. They'll blend in way more than the chrome ones and you won't have to pay to have the holes filled and then paint-matched.
