Dealership Really Pushing ESP. How Reliable Are The Convertibles?

Well I’m screwed, I live in Fl and the law states you cant buy the ESP from an outside dealer unless its registered in another state

Yea, I moved here from Pa but my god does Florida screw the car guy, between dealer fee’s and now ridiculous set ESP warranty pricing this state SUCKS to buy a car

In Pa I paid 3% under for my 19GT Plus added the extra 3yr ESP to the car for an additional $100 over cost

I spoke to my dealer in the state (PA) I bought my first GT, he said get a price on the warranty from the dealer in Florida on this used 19 GT Convert I’m looking at and lets see if he can beat the price?

He was pretty confident he can

Its sad but for some reason Granger Ford couldn’t do a warranty at all for me in FL and I’m not sure why?

It’s sad, because they support the board and I would've liked to deal with them if possible.

The warranty is from Ford. You’re just buying from Granger. The warranty is honored at any Ford and/or Lincoln dealer.

I haven’t used mine yet. In fact, other than oil and filter changes, the car has had one rear shock replaced and a recall done on the charcoal canister in 4+ years. I bought it in fear of a/c or top mechanism issues.

If I have the car registered in Pa, Grainger can do the warranty which is awesome, then drive it 6 months down in Fl

Grangers Price for the warranty is a really really good deal, at least it was for me. Now lets see if I can make a deal down in Fl with these con men stealerships

Well it seems the Dealer I delt with up in Pa can sell me the warranty in FL at a HUGE discount vs FL
