Just posting up a thread about our experience with Michael Pentecost from Clancy's.
I had dealt with Michael previously when he co owned Hills Mustang in Sydney, purchasing parts for my '65 Coupe resto - always good straight up service/excellent prices/delivery as we live in Coffs Harbour.
I bought my wife a new Focus Titanium in 2013 from the local dealer in Coffs and when she decided that a new Eco vert was what she wanted, I spoke to Mike.
We ordered in Oct 2014 and prepared for an 18 month wait, Mike would either call or email with a time update and around August '15 he said that it would be about late Jan 2016.
We were order number 6 on his books, he was expecting two cars per month starting in Nov 2015.
I hadn't received any email or phone communications from Ford, most of the tracking you guys are doing now hadn't been figured out yet - I read on another site about a guy who was tracking his ship and when I was told in Oct 2015 that the car was built and being loaded the following week, I contacted Ford, got the vin & started to track it.
It arrived at Port Kembla on 18/12 and Michael rang to tell us it was ready to pick up on the 29/12, unfortunately we had a house full of xmas rellies so we organised to pick it up on Monday 4/1.
As we were driving down to Bathurst the previous day, Michael paid for a night, dinner at Rydges and we picked up the car next day - it was his 2nd dealer delivery (due to issues with GT's Eco's were coming through first).
Unveiling, balloons, flowers, full tank of juice - the whole bit and we were on our way (boss was very happy).
Ordered the plates to be stored at Bathurst RMS so they could be picked up and put on the car.
800 klm drive home - couple of stone chips, he offered to organise someone local to have them touched up.
He has since looked after us $$ wise with a spare wheel kit and the TSW Bathurst Wheels.
He always returns calls - and nothing is a problem, price wise dealer delivery was $995 plus we got a good trade in for the Focus.
If you live out of town he will either have it delivered to you or put you up as we were.
Couldn't recommend him highly enough.

Cheers
J
