2023 Bathurst 6 Hr – 7 Mustang Entries

Class “A2 includes a race record 7 Ford Mustang entries, including new additions from the Stillwell family, Gomersall Motorsport and long-time Production Car campaigner, Chris Delfsma”, and previous top performers such as Local Legends of Tony Quinn who finished 8th outright last year (if he is racing this year), and Medecke Motor Group who finished 5th in 2021. Should be VERRY Interesting !!

Ambrose to make Mountain return on track, TV this Easter - Bathurst 6 Hour
Interesting comparison by Andrew M. with the original Bathurst Racing- Similar Production Car Formulae as the old Group A Cars (before "V8 Supercars" lost the plot with fake cars):

ANDREW MIEDECKE: “I’ve been to Bathurst many times and I see the Bathurst 6 Hour as being the race that I first started competing in 1986,” Miedecke said.

“The cars are quite similar – Group A cars were essentially production cars with relatively limited modifications and they are surprisingly similar to the modifications allowed in the 3E Production Car regulations. It’s a true Bathurst as it used to be with the classes and the challenges that entails – the different cars, drivers and speeds between them all.

“To me it’s nostalgic and a really good race."
