I've just joined after lurking around for a few months and I haven't seen much about dealers in this area. Has anyone got any experiences of my local dealers. These are:
Jennings Ford (Middlesbrough)
Lookers Ford (Sunderland)
Stoneacre (York)

I guess if the worst comes to the worst I could always go to Sandicliffe…

Can anyone enlighten me on the current lead time for the Mustang GT. I'm hoping to get delivery next year so I'm trying to work out the lead time so I know when to order.

Thanks.

I ordered a GT this month and estimated build date is 31 July so very quick at the moment.

Lookers Sunderland is my local dealer. As much as I've bitched and moaned, they've done okay overall and they've never had my car for more than a week, and provided information where they can.

With any of these cars, I'd order ASAP. I personally ordered from C2C (the Broker thread is located here). Eclipsar has also ordered a 19 from the same place, and his scheduled build date is the 31st of July, thus he may receive his car as early as late November or early December this year.

Given its been a few weeks since then, you may receive your car January 2019 now, but the lead-times are so all-over-the-shop that I'm pretty much just guessing. Though, with demand high they've kicked themselves into top-gear to crank cars out as quickly as possible.

But you've also then go to take into account shipping time (a couple of months?), and the time the car spends holidaying at Baltimore docks.

Welcome, if you are looking for a MY19 then I can give you a ruff guide ordered mine on the 2nd June, now showing a build date of 31st July so we should be looking at a ruff delivery in October at a guess, hope that helps

Unfortunately I need to get my mortgage paid off first. I'm hoping the prices don't head too far North in the next few months.
Lucky devil!

In that case, if you wait a little longer, I'd imagine delivery would be ready for the 19 plates if the MY18 model delivery schedule is anything to go by. :)

I work at Stoneacre York so can help you out if need be, what are you after? They have plenty of MY17’s in stock and quite a few 2018 cars in the compound now so if you don’t want to wait and there’s something you like then you could have a car immediately. If you want then PM me your contact details and I can get one of the sales guys to get in touch about a factory order 2019MY car?

Thanks Adam, but I've actually got the opposite problem. I need to wait to get the finance in place (even though I'd like to get the car as soon as possible). That's why I was asking about lead times.

However, if the dealers start overstocking on MY18 and need to shift them using 0% finance I might be able to get one earlier. :D
